On deck: Ollie and Tootsie!
Um, I don't really know if this is funny or not but some day it is going to be bad I think. My dog Ollie and cat Tootsie fight a lot. And it's not the hiss, bat, growl kind. They actually sort of get really mad at each other and fight. And in addition there is hissing and growling. But apparently, my dog just had the cat pinned down to the floor. I don't like it when they fight because I don't want Ollie to get hurt. Tootsie has gotten in many cat fights, we believe with our neighbor's cat. And I really don't want to say that Ollie started it, but she did(I wish Tootsie did :) Anyways, hang on. Ollie keeps licking herself. Eww! I just walked over and her tongue was in her butt! Oh well, tell your funny animal stories! :)

Spanky has giant tumors all over his body. They are so gross. Especially the racquet ball size one on his leg. What if it ruptures? I hope it doesn't get on me! The vet said there is nothing we can do except look at it every day. Blech! I had to go get him a rabies shot because he almost got into a fight with an opossum.
ReplyDeletePoor Spanky! That really stinks. I hope he doesn't get on me either :) An opossum?! Cute! Are they big or not really?
ReplyDeleteThey are about the size of a cat. They have a long, hairless tail that I don't like. However, they are not a rodent - they are a marsupial, so I don't hate them. Sometimes they climb to the top of a little tree and cling there to a little branch. It's kind of cute.
ReplyDeleteOh, I want one! Except, we probably can't get anything past a dog or cat. When you said they were the size of a cat, I thought you were talking about Spanky's tumors(hairless tail??).
ReplyDeleteHi: As to dogs and cats and fighting, did you ever see cats lick each other in a friendly fashion, then turn on each other and fight? I read somewhere that the problem is static electricity created by their rough tongues and hair, causing sparks and some pain. Isn't that strange? nana
