Easy Dictionary

Are there any words you don't know the definiton but want to? It seems like whenever I want to know the definition for something, I don't have the sources around me for it. And then when I'm actually on the computer, I don't ever even think to look it up. So I'm going to be an easy source for all you peeps. Put on the words you don't feel like looking for but always wanted to know the defintion of. Put on no more than 3-4 words at a time and I'll look them up for you. For example, I never knew the exact definition of coward. I just looked it up and it basically means afraid, fearful, timid. Yayaayayayyayayayayayayayyayayyay!!!!!!!! So list 'em here and hopefully they'll be here when ya come back! Out.

  3. Hello: I've been reading Faulkner's Pylon and he is very inventive with words -- hooks them together like Legos (such as "murallimning"). Here are four I would like to know, plus one from today's New York Times: diurnal, pennons, crenalated, celerity, and frisson. I know I'm over the limit but would really like to know! I usually just skip over and guess based on context. Nana

    Celerity=Swiftness, speed.
    Frisson=a sudden passing sensation of excitement, a shudder of emotion.
