Phone:Technology::Amazement:Eyes Popping Feeling
The phone was a magical invention and I still don't get how it works. I mean talking to someone wireless(sometimes) is amazing. And still if the wire was there I'd think it was amazing. I really just don't get it. You dial a set of ten numbers it rings and suddenly, if they pick up, you're talking to someone!! Comment your philosophies or facts on how the phone does such a wonderful job impressing me. Or other interesting phone stories(I like funny stories if you haven't noticed:)

Ustabe that talking LONG DISTANCE was very expensive. Ustabe that phone numbers were 3 digits long. Ustabe that there would be several houses on one telephone line and you would pick up by the type of ring. We were One Long One Short. Ustabe that you would have the operator dial for you. Ustabe that you would bring a dime on a date so you could call from a phone booth if your date got fresh. Nowadaze nothing is the same. But Nowadaze your phone drops calls. And in a tall building your reception is fuzzy -- like television Ustabe. Nana
